I'm Yihan. I'm a machine learning engineer at StackAdapt. On the side I ship small products and write a weekly essay about what building them teaches me; lately that means what working with AI agents does to the craft of engineering.

Before StackAdapt, I worked at Qualcomm and Zafin, studied electrical and computer engineering at the University of Toronto, and co-founded SnowOverflow.

The projects page has what I've shipped and what I'm still tending to. The blog is where I think out loud.

Outside of work I'm usually on the mountain, at the gym, or on a basketball court. When I'm not moving, I'm probably gaming, tinkering with my homelab, or 3D printing something I'll convince myself I needed.
